Up for auction is this 1942 Dodge Deluxe 4 door. I'm listing this car for my father in law. This is a prewar car and not many more were made before the war. This car runs and drives good. The original flat head 6 cylinder motor has 94266 miles on it, as the fluid drive transmission that works good, new brakes on all four corners. It has 15" wheels, ewer hub caps,and radial tireson it now, ut the original 16"wheels and tires go with the car also. Thebeautiful dash is all original and complete. Gauges all work and are really nice, ot sure if the radio works, ut theclockdoesn't work but could be repaired. The front and back seats had covers on them, ut were recently taken off and the seat upholstery and rear carpetare original to car. Has new headliner, isors, oor panels, ind lace, nd front carpet. Has new weather strips on the 4 doors, eck lid, ear window, nbsp;and cowl vent.The original sheet metal hasbeen painted in the last year using DuPont single stage paint. Door jambs and underside hood and deck lid have been refinished also. Has new fender welting.The front doors and rear suicide doorssound quiet andsolid when closing them.Front and rear bumpers and guards have been chromed. The grille and side trim are nice and have been detailed.Inside of trunk has had some updates done to it, as spare and jack. Still has the original owners manual and pouch that came with car.
