Car description

No Reserve Auction.
Excellent daily driver car. I've owned and maintained this vehicle for 23 years, but it's time for someone else to give it a good home.If you're looking for a daily driver to maximize the fun of owning a delorean, this car has been GREAT for me. I desire someone who will continue caring for it and improve things during any repairs. The car is a blast. I was never a Concours guy. As I resolved issues, I used the better improved designed items (e.g.exhaust, LEDs, Kevlar clutch, fuel pump, etc). If you're looking for a delorean with all the enjoyment of owning the car, this is it IMHO.
Black interior - no fading. Superior to gray which tends to fade. Note, some of the pictures have sunlight filtering through the tree above, this is not fading.5 speed manual. Superior to the three speed automatic in my opinion
Recent replacements / items of interest
  • New Kevlar clutch and throw-out bearing. 1500 miles since replacement
  • New clutch master and slave cylinders with SS Braided lines
  • New brake master cylinder
  • New battery
  • Stage I SS exhaust DPI
  • Excellent stainless exterior - Shows very well
  • LED lights throughout
  • New front and rear speakers - new radio included, but not installed
  • Rebuilt fuel system from tank to stern. Tank, pump, lines, filter, accumulator
  • Bead blasted and epoxy coated rims.
  • New headliners
  • Plugs wires, cap and rotors
  • Fully functioning AC with full charge
  • 140 speedo
  • All coolant hoses replaced
  • All fluids replaced (of course)
  • New 160 AMP alternator and belts
  • Car cover

The to-do list
  • Replace old radio with new one (included)
  • Fan control switch is failed and bypassed. Fan control is either on or off, without medium speed.
  • Dash board has a crack by the glove box. A new dash costs $300 and the labor to put it in. I have vinyl tape covering the crack so it doesn't show much in the pix.
  • Door locks tend to stick because the new door seals are so snug. This loosens up over time.

Buy-It-Now removed due to non-paying buyer. Because of this, all low-quantity feedback buyers or previous wanna-be buyers must contact me prior to bidding or your bid may be cancelled. Sorry for this.
Please realize I have the car listed locally/elsewhere as well, so it is possible I could end the auction early, but not if the reserve has been met.
