Car description |
---|
This DeLorean Time Machine has been on display in our museum for nearly 20 years. It was part of the Barris Star Car Collection. It has been autographed by the late George Barris and wears the Barris Kustoms crests. Has full functional display with times and date on dash, light up flux capacitor, Mr. Fusion and other props to make this one of the most recognizable Hollywood movie cars ever! The car does plug into any 110 outlet and is powered by an inverter to lite it up while on display. Over the years hundreds of thousands of visitors have come to our museum to see this car and it has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of media coverage for us. There is no doubt, if you are trying to attract attention from either media or public, there are very few cars that would do it any better than this one! Only 1 screen used DeLorean Time Machine has ever been released by Universal Studios, it sold in 2011 for $541,200. This particular car is very historic, it is one of, if not the earliest, non-screen used car to have been built and has ties to the legendary King of Kustoms, George Barris. The car has been maintained over the years, it does start, run and drive but it has not been on the road in almost 20 years. We are not selling it as a street ready car. World Wide Shipping available. Taxes and fees may apply in some states, please verify with us prior to end of auction. Selling no-reserve to the highest bidder.
