Car description |
---|
Up for sale, a beautiful Delorean Time Machine replica car from the 1985 movie Back To The Future. This car is for the true fan of of the film, every detail is meticulously recreated using original period parts whenever possible. This is not some assembly-line build, this was a decade in the making, with original period parts that are impossible to find now. It was built by world-renowned BTTF prop builder Gary Weaver, who built Seth MacFarlane's car that was featured A Million Ways To Die In The West, and is know for his screen-accuracy.
The car can be set up for part 1, part 1 with the hook (as shown), or part II. The part II rear deck and Mr. Fusion ARE included in the sale.
Time circuits function like in the film, you can punch the dates in using the keypad. All interior electronics emulate the film.
Car runs great, starts right up. AC blows cold. Just got new rear shocks. Over $10k invested in the past 2 years.
Hood has been swapped (since the pictures were taken) for a screen-accurate non-gas-flap grooved hood in perfect condition.
Priced to sell. I just don't have time to properly enjoy it and it should go to someone who will share it with the world. Everyone loves seeing this car.
Please no low-ball offers. Current price for a cookie-cutter, assembly-line Part II conversion (which are much easier than Part I) is $50k. PLUS you need a good running Delorean, which is another $35k-45k. This is a steal for a truly one-of-a-kind, grade-A time machine replica.
Please contact me with any questions.
