Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this first-year 280Z, he 1975 model. The 280z would be one of the most popular Z-cars to this day. It was powered by an increased displacement 2.8 liter inline-6. The 280 boasted near identical performance with the original 240Z, first since the smog restrictions. This example displays very good to excellent sheet metal along with clean and detailed correct silver paint. This car is powered by a previously rebuilt inline-6 paired with the factory 4-speed manual transmission. Options include air conditioning and power front disc brakes along with vintage aluminum mag wheels. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns about this vintage Datsun 280Z.

The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the fitting location for many of our photos of this classic Nissan/Datsun. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, exas. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' is located only minutes from the historic Flight Museum.

This has always been a silver car. This example looks to have had one repaint over the years. The hood underside, ngine compartment, oor jambs and hatch area appear to retain original paint throughout. This is a very straight and attractive car. The doors, ood, nd deck lid align straight and true.

Under the hood is the L-28 inline-6. This was the first year of Bosch fuel-injection in these cars, eplacing the venerable dual carburetors. This engine is not the original engine for this Datsun as determined by the serial number stamp on the block. The original identification plate for this Datsun is still in place on the shock tower. The firewall, nner fenders, nd core support display excellent sheetmetal throughout.

This power plant runs smooth and is paired with the factory 4-speed manual transmission. This transmission shifts through the gears as it should and the clutch grips good. This is a strong running car and is a pleasure to drive. Our seller inherited this Z car from her dad. She said of all the cars in his collection, hich consisted of many exotics, e always loved and retained this 280 Z.

Open the doors to 1975.

One of the best features of this Datsun is the beautiful and original dash assembly. This dash is in excellent condition and does not have one of those hard covers or half covers. This is the real thing!

The upholstery shows wear, ut is in good condition and correct for the car.

The factory gauges are intact throughout. The original radio was replaced by an AM/FM cassette stereo at some time in the past.

This Datsun 280Z certainly has the "look" of yesterday. The window louvers are steel. The wheels of choice are vintage 15-inch aluminum wheels fitted with P195/70R14 B.F. Goodrich Touring T/A radials all around. This is a straight, ough-looking Z car.

Rubber bumper guards and bigger bumpers became government mandates starting in 1974 and continuing on through the '75 model year. The attractive lines of the Z were not immune.

Important areas of this Datsun are solid. This is a dry climate example and this is evident throughout the metal condition.

The undercarriage is a further indicator of the dry climate condition of this Datsun. The frame rails are solid and the flooring is original throughout. Please look closely at the detailed photos.

Enjoy our remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns.
