Up for sale is a very unique kit car package that I have been collecting parts for. The body is a Fiberfab Jamaican body that is uncut. The body is in what looks to be its original black gelcoat. The flashing is still in the window cutouts. so this body is essentially brand new. The chassis is a 1957 Triumph TR-3 with front disc brakes. I believe this was the first year for disc brakes on a triumph. The chassis is in great condition. it has been fully degreased. sanded and painted with SEM Rustshield. I have the original engine and transmission for this chassis. both condition unknown. but complete. The original TR-3 gauge cluster and switch panel are included and would fit well into the UNCUT Dash. I have a pair of OMP race seats that are included or a pair of original Fiberfab bucket seats with no upholstery. This Jamaican body was meant to be used on this frame and it fits well. This package comes with the State of Connecticut TITLE and the TR-3 VIN TAGS for you to complete the package. The Jamaican body utilizes a windshield from a 67 Vette and a rear window from a 60s 911. the side windows are sourced from a Karman Ghia. I don't have these windows. I am just referencing what is needed. This would be a good project that could be street driven or used for vintage racing. The drive train and chassis is easy to source parts for. proper gauges are included. along with a Title and a body in Excellent condition. I will add pictures of the doors and seats and the Triumph steering Column this evening. This car is stored in Redding. Ct. 06986 and can be seen by request. All questions thru EBay mail answered quicklyIf you would like to talk about this project you can call my Cell @ 203-952-6001 DeanI may be able to assist a local buyer with delivery on my flatbed for a reasonable fee. This car will be sold with the Vintage Connecticut title and a Ct. Q-1 Bill of Sale. On Apr-23-15 at 18:02:01 PDT. seller added the following information: I have just included photos of the front and back of the doors. These have never been mounted . no hinges are included but I am told they utilized 60s Mustang hinges. The doors doo have the regulators installed. ready to receive windows from a karman ghia. I have also listed pictures or original fiberfab bucket seats. and a pair of late model MOMO race seats. The successful bidder will have his choice of ONE set. I have another listing for a Fiberfab Avenger GT12. whichever car is sold first will get to choose. I spoke to a fellow from Wisconsin that was the designer of this body back in the day. He correctly dates the body at 1975-1976 vintage because of the dual hood scoops. The earlier bodies had no scoops. I am also told that the earlier 1968 bodies were studied by Datsun and provided inspiration for the design of the DATSUN 240Z. If you are interested in a BIN price. message me and I am open to working it out.
