Up for sale is a goodcondition, driver quality 1971 Datsun 240z project. The car runs, drives and stops, but needs needs fine tuning to be ready for long trips. The body is in great shape, this was originally a Texas car, the frame, battery tray, floors and hatch area are in great shape. The floors have been replaced using correct 240z reproduction floor pans, and were welded in correctly, and undercoated and sound deadening replaced for a better than factory experience. The frame has not been repaired, and is very straight, showing no signs of accident damage, as well as the battery tray being very solid, as these are common rust areas and rarely left solid. The numbers matching L24 has a new fuel pump and rebuilt Z therapy SU carbs to make it run smoothly. The exterior of the car is in decent shape, original paint is still present with minor dings throughout, and a small rust spot on the A pillar (pictured). The roof is very nice, with no damage or bondo present, and the original paint still shining. The interior is in nice shape, the dash has minor cracks and all gauges are present and factory, as well as the original hitachi radio, seats are still in good shape for their age and comfortable, new factory style carpet was installed. This 240 sports a nice set of vintage Libre wheels with newer low profile tires. Overall this is excellent driver project for someone to complete and tailor to their specific tastes, while having a solid foundation to build off of!
