1974 260z
Up for sale is an excellent condition 1974 Datsun 260z restored back to factory specs with tasteful modifications done to the car to enhance its natural beauty.
Body: very straight car with no rust, this car was a straight car to begin with and has only minor restoration work done to it. The car was repainted back to the rare factory color code 113 green metallic or leaf green, it has a great shine to it and really stands out. All doors shut very well and all gaps are factory. The factory bumpers were replaced with the more desirable 240z bumpers to give it a more clean look.
Drivetrain: the engine was upgraded to an L28 with a strong P79 head, giving this car more hp than the original L26. It also has been upgraded to earlier round top SU carbs to give it greater drive-abilitythan the notoriously bad flat tops that were factory on the 260z. The valve cover was powder coated to factory silver to give it a durable finish that looks amazing, as well as the air cleaner. The car has a brand new starter, new electric fuel pump, new spark plugs and wires, new oil filter, and a fresh oil change. The car retains its factory transmission and rear end. It also has a new clutch and pressure plate, clutch slave cylinder, and clutch master, both being recently bled with new fluid.
Suspension: the suspension was upgraded to give the car better handling than factory with Eibach springs and tokico gas shocks. This gives the car much more aggressive and slightly lowered look, the original warranty booklets for the springs and shocks come with the car. The car also has excellent XXR wheels with low profile kumho tires that give the car a great look.
Interior: the interior of this 260 is in excellent shape, seats have been professionally reupholstered with new covers, and a brand new carpet kit has been installed. The dash retains all of its factory gauges and has NO CRACKS at all, it has never been repaired, just stored properly.
Overall, this car is a beautiful example of a classic z car, and has been restored to be a perfect enthusiast car that can be driven and enjoyed.
