Car description

International buyers are welcome, but please message me before bidding.
I am selling my 74' Datsun 260z. The car was stripped 100% to bare metal and sandblasted.Even the undercoat was chipped out. All the rusty spots such as floors, frame rails and battery area were cut off and replaced with new metal pieces. It has thicker frame rails. The whole under body and interior floors were painted with 2 gallons of POR15 rust prevention.Even INSIDE the frame rails and body frame were coated with POR15.The firewall and floorboards were sprayed with Lizzard skin heat shield & sound dampening coating.
The color code is the Nissan "Daytona Blue Metallic" (same code as 370z,GTR,etc). It was coated with Epoxy PPG primer, high build PPG primer and PPG base color with PPG Shopline clear coat.It has a 12 point roll cage and frame reinforcement. The car was built for high HP applications and not for "car shows". It has a 2JZGE healthy block (around 60xxx miles) with 2 heads, one VVTI and the other Non-VVTI. (the stock 2jz internals are good for 900whp depending on the tune). I highly recommend OEM head gasket and ARP head studs.
It doesn't have transmission or differential (you can use a R154, T56 or CD009).My plans were to use a Ford 8.8 IRS LSD diff with CV shafts. The tailgate and hood came from another car, and they don't look as good as the rest (that's why they are flat black). I had intentions of using carbon fiber hood and tailgate so I never cared to much about painting them blue.
The car is sitting on 4 brand new KYB shocks with 2 inch Vogtland lowering springs. (it sits high because the car has no weight on it).It has Polyurethane bushings and new rear bearings with OEM spindle pin.It still light. I was able to lift the car by myself (with the roll cage already on it) to put it on the rotisserie (picture #13).The car has a lot of money and time put into it.Unfortunately I have too many projects going on right now and I have some other priorities. I'm not happy about selling it, but It drives me crazy seeing the car in the garage and not having time to work on it.
The car overall isn't perfect, the paint needs to be buff and cut in order to shine all even. Since it was painted a few months ago was parked in the garage with no further progress.
I have a lot of interior and extra parts that comes with the car (new tie rods, rack and pinion boots, etc).I have all the glass for it, including a brand new windshield.
I am selling it as a project, so please understand that it needs work, it isn't ready to turn on the key and drive, but it is a very solid platform. The buyer is responsible to make it road worthy and safe.
