Selling this shag-tabulous 1973 Datsun 620 Mini Truck! It's been customized to the max back in the mid-70's complete with floor to ceiling shag carpeting in really good condition, custom etching on the side and rear windows of FLAMES, sexy interior mood lighting and "porch light" on the back (so you can find it in the dark...), extremely detailed hand-done pinstriping that's actually signed, wild "burnin sky airbrushing scenes, and of course the name of the truck "Burnin' Sky".
It was stored, not registered for 10 years, but it does have new brakes, master cylinder and shoes--they need to be bled but work fine. The drive train has been converted to a German Ford V6 "Cologne" engine & it's running an Offenhauser intake manifold & a big Holley double pumper carb. The engine has headers and the carb could use a tuning from sitting-- even with new gas there's still an old gas smell and it idles hard. The corvette side pipes are ornamental only, not hooked up to anything. The original red paint matches the jambs and under the hood. And....best news yet...there's a recording of an ice cream truck jingle that plays if you choose---WHAT?? That's right, you heard me.
It's all period correct and is insanely popular on the street-- gets attention like no other. I'd recommend a once-over before driving it any long distance, but it does start, run and drive. You are not going to find another "Burnin Sky"!!Odomoter reads 06283K which I assume means 106,283.
Get in touch with me before bidding-- I have had too many jokers who bid with no intention of following through. 912-414-8993 Zak I accept cash, cleared personal check or cleared money order, wire transfer etc for the balance-- no paypal.
