Well, it is about a million degrees here in Arizona this week. So before I pull this car into a million pieces and list everything here on eBay, I will see if anybody is up for a neat restoration project first. And save me from sweating my butt off. At least for another week. This is a 1973 Datsun 240Z. The previous owner was starting to restore it when I got it with other cars of his. He pulled parts and was going to repaint it. He said he went thru the engine but I have no way to verify that. I will say it is the matching number original engine, looks clean, has a new looking head gasket, and turns nicely by hand. . No radiator, but there are boxes of extra parts that go with car. He did do the brake and hydraulic master cylinders, new brake calipers up front and new wheel cylinders in the rear. Front windshield and rear decklid glass have been pulled and need new gaskets to reinstall. No door panels, and I imagine other parts are missing. The car came from Southern California. Not a bad body. But not rustfree. To do it right, both floor pans and rails should be replaced. Though patching may work. Passenger dogleg has rust thru. And the left rear wheel arch has been worked with what looks like metal from front to rear. Not a bad job but not stock. But at least it is not full of bondo at the lip like most .Looks like this was done a long time ago when it was repainted the original factory orange. Fuel tank is out but included. Carbs with K and N filters are off but included. This car has a lot of issues, but it has a lot going for it. . Mostly original, mostly rustfree and mostly there. This will be a great builder to work with. . A very solid base to start with is always the way to go.I travel around the West Coast with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it to you or close. And can arrange trucking to Long Beach California shippers for overseas buyers for $300. Clean straight title.
