This Citroen Traction Avant has a 1952 vin number but the California Reg. and title say 1953. It was restored and customized in the mid nineties judging from all of the trophies from car shows in the trunk all dated 1993 to 1997. From all the research we've done. it appears that someone took a late 1952 11BL 4 door and turned it into a 2 door and customized the rear trunk and tire mount. This vehicle is in very nice driving condition and is ready to cruise around town. It is no longer a perfect show car though. the rubber seals around lights are weathered and cracking and there are some small cracks in the paint {as seen in photos} The rear bumper is pushed in a little on the left side as seen in pics and the front bumper has a slight bend it it {pics}. The original fuel pump has been rebuilt and there is also a new battery in the car. This is a fun Sunday cruising vehicle or a great project for someone that wants to do a light restoration. This is an auction and this vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder over the reserve. Please don't ask what the reserve is. you will find out when it is reached. It's very reasonable considering the rarity of these old citroens.
