1961 Chrysler 300/G The Banker's Hot Rod I am proud to showcase this beautiful 1961 Chrysler 300G hardtop. The last of the unique letter cars, 1280 hardtops were produced in 1961. This would be the last of the Virgil Exner designed "finned" cars, a grand exit for sure. This eye-catching Mardi Gras red example runs strong & drives down the road with authority. It is very attractive inside & out, although there are some flaws to note. The powerful 413 Cross-Ram V8 & Torque-Flite pushbutton transmission were rebuilt in recent years with low miles since. Services needed include the air conditioning system, tachometer operation & power seats. This is otherwise a car that cruises beautifully, looks the part & you can enjoy today. Be sure & play the video road test below, great road-manners. Enjoy the Samspace81 Ebay presentation and feel free to email or call myself, Sam, at 972-748-6389 with any questions. This Chrysler 300/G is privately owned & available for inspection in Forney, Texas. This Chrysler runs & drives down the road beautifully, it is truly an eye-catching car.
Open the doors to 1961...
Under the hood is the 375 horsepower 413 Cross-Ram V8, previously rebuilt & robust.
The interior brightwork and trim is unmistakable. The electro-luminescent gauges are beautiful.
The black leather upholstery is in great shape front to back. Note the twin center consoles, classy.
The chrome and stainless show beautifully, in very good condition. The Body is very straight and displays a beautiful older repaint of the Mardi Gras Red color.
There are some paint chips & flaws to note, see photos.
The undercarriage displays solid original flooring throughout. This car spent much of its life in California and Arizona. There is some rust & repair to note on the right front side, along the body to floor line, see photos
