Car description |

For sale is a great looking 1959 Chrysler New Yorker Rat Rod four door hardtop. Original paint has an awesome patina. Original 413 V8 350 horsepower motor and recently rebuilt transmission. (seal on transmission leaks a bit after being rebuilt but should be an easy fix) Car runs and drives great. Brand new professionally recovered front and rear seats, as well as front and back professionally made door panels. Seats and door panels were done right and are not cheap reproduction covers you buy at a swap meet. Front seats swivel out to get in and out of the car. (Cool option to have at car shows with the door open and seat swiveled out.) Interior needs a headliner and carpet to be almost new. Dash is in original condition but looks great to match the car. Electric windows and door locks work good.
New large diameter wheels and tires gives the car a great stance and turns heads everywhere you go. Original wheels and hubcaps caps come with the car.
The negative: Rear quarters have small rust spots that would be expected with a car this old and original and will need repair to make the body 100%. Very easy repair. A mentioned above, transmission seal leaks and will need to be replaced or just plan on a drip on your garage floor.
