This corvette is a very rough project car. It does not run. Please be aware this car will require a complete rebuild. I have owned it for 28 years. I drove it for several years then started a partial restoration. A variety of issues kept me from ever getting back to it. I am not sure of the actual mileage as I do not have the speedometer but it is listed at 121404 on the title which was issued in 1987 and I do not believe I put more than 10000 additional miles on it while I was driving it. The following parts are not included: cylinder heads intake manifold carburetor exhaust manifolds distributor alternator various trim prices speedometer tachometer upper dash pad speedometer and tachometer pods center gauge cluster bezel radio antenna various lights and electrical connectors rocker panel trim pieces wheel trim rings fan shroud and other small parts. I have most of the chrome trim (front and rear bumpers and side vent inserts) but I am missing the front flags gas lid flags and one 'Stingray' side trim piece. None of the tires hold air.The short block is a 355 SBC and is notthe original block. Further water leaked into the engine through the intake manifold and both of the rear cylinders are rusted (see pictures). I do not know if the short block is salvageable. The transmission is a TH400 and I believe it is the original transmission for the car.The transmission has fewer than 10000 miles on a rebuild but the rebuild was at least 25 years ago.The car has power steering and AC (I have the compressorthe evaporator and most of the other major parts) but manual brakes. The suspension and chassis are unmodified to my knowledge. Frame has surface rust and some thinner metal parts have significant rust. The body has some surface cracks and some poorly repaired damage that I discovered when I was taking the paint off. The hood has a small hole in the center and the passenger side hinge mount on the hood is broken out (see pictures). It has been garaged for the past ten years but it sat out in the open for several years and the damage done while it was out in the open (and the missing parts) have made it too much of a project for me. Additionally my family and I are moving to another state and I do not want to haul it 1100 miles just to let it continue to sit in my garage.I would love for someone to fix it and enjoy it like I did the first several years that I owned it.I do have new black carpet that I bought several years ago and I will include it with the car.Car is offered with no reserve. It will be available to be picked up by the winning bidder after June 19.
