1967 Ford Mustang Fastback "C" Code Car 289-4 Barrel Fresh Repaint! Absolutely Stunning! Very Clean & Turn Key! ONCE IN A LIFE TIME TEXAS BARN FIND! RARE & LOADED 1955 CHEVROLET BELAIR WAGON! NEAR SURVIVOR QUALITY! 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon. true VC55 Bel Air 2 seat wagon. loaded with options. 265 V8. powerglide. power steering. radio. heater. tinted glass. very rare power brakes. and more. Original color was RED. Texas barn find. in very original condition except for the old repaint. Runs. drives and stops. Exterior shows great patina. drive as is or restore her to original beauty. Extremely straight with great fit to doors. tailgate and hood. NO hail dents! Pretty solid underneath. but some rust in rocker area. Have you ever seen a loaded 55 Bel Air wagon? Mechanical: The 265 V8 has the correct suffix and date code and is probably the original engine. IT starts and runs smoothly. It has its original manifolds. valve covers. oil bath air cleaner and other components. The power steering works smoothly. A new starter has been recently installed. The power brake booster has been rebuilt. The radiator retains its “55” date code. The engine could probably benefit from a tune up but runs well. The brakes work but could probably benefit from some maintenance. The emergency brake works. horn works. lights work. A new fuel tank has been recently installed. The tires are older model bias ply whitewalls and appear nearly new. nbsp; but should be evaluated before highway driving. The cast-iron powerglide appears to be correct and is probably original. It works in all gears but could probably benefit from some maintenance. Interior: The dash is in excellent shape. There are no dings in the stainless trim. The paint on the dash has faded from the Texas sun. The seat upholstery is original and in decent condition with the exception of a split in the back of the front seat. The original gauge panel works including the temperature. fuel. speedometer and odometer. The dome light works but not on all doors. The odo reads 45k and may be the original mileage but there is no way to tell for sure. The rubber floor covering is brittle and needs replacement. The spare tire well cover is intact but could use some repair/ replacement. The faded tire instructions are still in place. The original clock is missing. The original radio is still present but is missing a knob and doesn’t power up. The original tissue dispenser is still present. Body: The car was repainted sometime in the past in a budget white covering the original Rio Red. The paint has been baked in the Texas sun to have a nice patina. There are some small scrapes. chips. scratches and spray can touch-ups. There are no major dents present and the car appears to have avoided major collisions in its life. The hood. doors and. tailgate fit very well and shut like new. The bumpers have great patina. The window trim is very nice with no noticeable dings. The hood and roof are very straight with NO hail damage! The headlight eyebrows have some bondo in them. The tailgate functions very well. Although it is a Texas car there is some rust in the inner rocker/brace area. There are some pin holes in the passenger rear footwell and spare tire well. but these areas remain solid. The outer body is very solid. The windshield and one door glass are cracked. but the delicate rear curved panes are intact. The tailgate glass is good and the brace/ latch function well. There is some rust in the corner by the left taillight area. The key fits all door locks and they are functional!This is the perfect collector vehicle that the whole family can enjoy. The only problem you're going to have is with other enthusiasts swarming you. So if you're looking for something rare & different. this is it.
