1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door "Gasser Style"
High performance 383 small block with Patriot aluminum heads, HP camshaft and Quick Fuel carburetor. MSD 6AL ignition system. Vintage Stewart Warner gauges. Autometer tachometer with shift light. Turbo 350 automatic transmission with manual-shift valve body and high RPM stall converter. B&M Quicksilver shifter. Ford 9" positrac rear end with 3.89 gears. Manual steering. Power brakes. Front disc brakes on Speedway straight axle. Fenderwellheaders, race-type mufflers with electric exhaust cut-outs. Very solid and straight body with nice paint. Good glass. Nice black interior - looks great. Sony AM/FM radio. Weld Draglite wheels. Hoosier D.O.T. Legal tires. Runs very strong. Does not run hot. Drives good. Fun car. It's loud and fast but highway and cruise night friendly. Nice enough to show. All lights and gauges work (except speedometer). The original vacuum wipers are in-op. The odometer shows 65,409 miles but this car has been built from the ground up, so actual mileage on drivetrain is unknown.
