Slick paint, a fuel-injection upgrade, and at a value price are all part of want makes this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino quite attractive. So if you're looking for a stock-style machine with a few well-placed investments, dig into this classic car/truck.
The gray paint is an instant standout. It's a modern application with a nice metallic element that loves the sunlight. But more than just the paint, you want this El Camino because of how it looks. The El Camino was restyled this year to have an iconic design with a beefy body lines and four-headlight setup to match the Chevelle. They even upgraded to a cowl hood with black SS stripes painted on top for added sporty distinction. Rally wheels, dual side exhaust, and a hint of forward leaning stance all give this a cool style to go with the practical truck bed.
For the same reason the black stripes go with the exterior gray paint, we also like the look of the full black interior. It remains largely stock inside, with the vinyl bench seat, door panels, carpeting, and dash pad all looking very inviting. It really keeps the 1970s style right down to the details. So the Delco AM radio is still there for display, and so are the controls for the factory air conditioning (many A/C components are present, but it will need servicing to blow cold again.) In fact, the only truly modern piece in this time capsule is the EFI controller under the dash.
The bold orange block of the engine bay has a very stock and honest appearance. But as you dig a little deeper, you see this 350 cubic-inch V8 has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection (EFI) module on top. So you can dial in extra performance or economy just from the driver's seat! It means this hardy V8 gets even more reliable. This even has a nice rumble as the dual exhaust feeds a set of Flowmasters. It's the kind of classic you'll want to enjoy on the road, and so there are easy driving features, like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the clean fuel-injected classic you don't want to let slip way. Call today!!!
