1969 CHEVELLE SS - CANADIAN BUILT I'm selling this 1969 Chevelle SS for a good friend of mine who isn't Ebay savvy. This is a true Canadian Built Chevelle SS. It was born with a 396 cu. in., 350 hp big block with a M21 4 speed transmission. It currently has a 454 cu. in. engine that was replaced a few years ago and has approx. 15,000 miles on it. It still retains the 373:1, 12 bolt posi rear end. I don't know the where-abouts of the original motor. They have spent over $4,500.00 in new correct OEM parts from NPD. Some of the new parts have not been installed yet like the center console, master cylinder and brake booster assembly, hood and taillight bezels, fan motor, heater core, correct heater hoses and misc. items. New parts include all new clutch assembly, pressure plate, brakes and brake lines, complete new exhaust from exhaust manifolds all the way back to the tail pipes and new wiring harnesses from front to back! Just about everything under the hood is new too....valve covers, gaskets, alternator, battery, fuel pump, intake manifold, Holley 770 Street Avenger carb, coil, distributor, points, plugs, cap, plugs wires, washer bottle, washer pump, wiper motor assembly...etc. The entire interior is in very good condition from the seats to the carpeting. It even came with a factory 8 Track Player! The headliner is still very nice. The door panels are in very good condition as well. All the gauges and lights work, but the instrument panel lights aren't coming on. I will try and get them going. I can't get the horns to work even though everything is new except for the steering wheel so it may be in the contacts in the wheel. I will try and get them working before the car sells. It does run, drive and brakes very well. Steering and handling are very good. The tires, trim rings and center caps are in great shape. Ok....now for the bad...the paint job isn't the best and it will need a new paint job. The rear bumper is ok, but should be replaced (slight fade and pitting). The floors and trunk pan are marginal. It just depends on what you plan to do with the car. Some areas of the rear inner rear quarters and frame were spot welded for additional support and strength. It was born Fathom Green with a black vinyl top with the black interior. If it were my car, that's what I would return it to. There are lots of spare parts that will go with the sale of the car too! The car has a clear title. There's a pretty low reserve on the car, so keep the bidding going. If you have any questions, please call me anytime...Happy Bidding!....thanks, Ken 574 870 4888 To view all 110 pictures of this Chevelle, please visit: https://classiccarbrokeringservices.shutterfly.com/18315
