Car description

Up for Bid; 1969 Chevy 1/2 ton long bed. This is a really nice looking truck that doesn't need much. It an older resto but still holds her glory! She has a few knicks. chips and flaws but that just makes her more enjoyable as a daily driver or weekend cruiser. You won't have to worry about getting that first scratch but you'll still be proud to show it off. Mech; 350cid. Auto trans. A/C componets are there but may need a recharge. Disc brake conversion already done. Gas tank relocated from behind the seat to under the bed. New dual exhaust. Motor runs strong and tight. Doesn't smoke. Trans shifts good. Rides nice and firm. no abnormal sounds. Tires have lots of tread. Great oil pressure!Electrical; Brake lights. tail lights. headlights all work. All gauges function. Interior; You can see from the pics that the interior is in great shape. Newer carpet. New seat cover. Visors need to be glued and stitched back together. Speaker holes were cut into the doors. nbsp; aargh. nbsp; but put a stereo in the truck and fill the holes with speakers. Exterior; Paint has some nicks and scratches and such. Chrome is in good shape. stainless and other trim are in good shape. Some peeling of the woodgrain decal on tail gate. nbsp; the bed floor looks great! isn't all banged up. paint shines nice and metal flake in the paint makes it stand out in the sun. If I were to keep it; I would change the stock carb to an edelbrock. The original carb (4bbl quadrajet) was rebuilt. nbsp; it works but I don't think it is quite right. I would replace the heater switch. it sticks. The visors I would have restitched. The fuel gauge works but I'm not convinced it is accurate. I'd look into that for my own peace of mind. I would change the point dist to an HEI. Other than those things I'd drive it and smile. Overall; This is a complete and mostly original truck with no rust. It needs little things that a guy can do to take it to whatever level you'd want. It's an instant hit in any parking lot as it draws lots of attention with this color combo. Old and young like the looks of this truck! This is a truck that you can drive and it will show well and won't break the bank like a show truck would. I've tried to describe this truck as best I can. nbsp; Please ask questions so you fully understand what you are getting. Shipping is the buyers responsibilty. I will assist in getting it to a local shipper. Prefer cash. bank checks. personal checks over paypal anyday. Checks will obviously need to clear before the truck is picked up.
