I am selling my 1986 Military M1008 CUCV. It is all original 24v system. Has lots of new parts, but to name a few it has brand new water pump, all four new brakes, four new 10 ply AT tires, block heater, all new dash lights, new hoses, and the batteries are only couple years old and numerous other small parts. It has had the doghead mod relay done (big plus) plus several other relays replaced. You wont find a better CUCV at this price. Transmission and engine are very strong. This truck is very dependable. Solid with no rust (other then light surface rust in a few places), the cab is dirty inside and could use a good claning. It has very miles, the speedometer is the original miles but i still drive it so they will change. It has the military black out lights. Electrical is in great shape with the exception of the turn signals, needs a new switch. All it needs done is the track in the drivers side window needs replaced, but it stays up fine. The fuel gauge over winter stopped reading correctly and i believe needs a new sending unit. It has a small antifreeze leak in the cab which I believe is a lose hose. The heater works great and the entire coolant system was flushed last fall when a new block heater was installed. New weather stripping around doors. Job box in truck bed not included. As I stated there is very little wrong with this truck and what issues there are minor pretty cheap issues to fix. This truck came from a military base in the south and I've taken great care of it and always stored it indoors. I use it as a daily driver. But I have gotten a new toy to play with so I must sell my CUCV. You wont find a better CUCV for this price $10,000. Contact me with any questions.
