1969 Chevrolet Corvette, 350/350h.p., Four Speed, LeMans Blue, Bright Blue Interior, One Owner, Full Numbers Matching, Documented, 54,000 Original Miles.
Are you looking for an authentic, high caliber, documented Corvette with nearly all the most desirable features a blue chip Corvette can have? Motor, transmission, color, mileage, one owner, numbers matching, and documented, this Corvette has nearly everything you could want in a C3. Purchased new on March 3, 1969, I purchased this car from the original owner on the same date 51 years later. The 54000 original miles were driven almost exclusively in Springfield, Missouri by the original owner. This car has never been taken apart in any real way as can be evidenced by the suspension and driveline. I have taken the car as far as I am willing to go in order to preserve its originality. Since March of this year I have installed a new interior, factory exhaust, clutch-pressure plate-throw out bearing, tires, and complete weather strip and seal package. There is no reason to do anything more to this car with the possible exception of suspension freshening. The car runs and drives exceptionally well for its originality and genuinely needs not a thing. Everything works as it did from the factory.
A careful review of the pictures will speak volumes for the quality of this car. The Corvette was repainted 20 or so years ago and looks incredible for its age, however, there is one small area on the nose - passenger side next to the headlight bucket where there is a couple of small solvent pops. Please reference this in the picture containing a pencil point noting the area. I will answer any questions you may have regarding the car. This one has no excuses and is exactly what you see in pictures. This car is for sale because I do not feel I can make it any better than it currently is. I think I am offering a car that is right and at the right price.
