Car description

After 4 years, my longest relationship is coming to an end. It's a bittersweet moment but it is time for me to move on and someone else to enjoy her.
Her name is Monaco, she's a beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Corvette with t-tops. Under the hood is the original, numbers matching small block 350/300 that was claimed to have been rebuilt about 8-10 years ago. I have no documentation of that but she runs great. Mated to that is the original, numbers matching 4 speed muncie transmission. I have not researched the rear end. The carburetor is not original, it is a 1972 off a 350/350. Non original paint but, original color, Monaco orange. Correct interior. New tires, suspension, multiple items rechromed, undercoated, various vac lines replace and other misc maintenance. Head lights, tail lights, turn signal and back up lights work as they should.
She isn't perfect, she's about a 6 footer (looks perfect from 6 foot away) Up close and you'll notice some rock ships, a small penny sized imperfection in the hood; she's a good driver. Some non original parts, the heat doesnt seam to work, the wipers need vac lines ran, there seems to be a bushing or u joint noise coming from the rear end. The t-tops leak but we just don't take her out in the rain. She could use some tlc or you could love her and drive her with her quirks. The speedometer needle is broke and does not read correct. The odometer is not turning so the mileage is unknown. I have only put approx 3000 miles on her since purchased. I do have a box of spare parts, the original shifter, an extra carburetor, what I was told is the original radio and some misc.

It was love at first site but, our love has faded over the years and I am now more interested in other things. I hate to see her go but, I don't give her the attention she deserves, no matter how much I want to.
