Description
This car is the real deal – a California-built, SS-titled, numbers-matching 1967 Camaro on only its third owner. The car’s never been in an accident, all the metal is original – no bondo baby here!
Here’s what’s been done:
- The first owner repainted the car orange, but it’s now been returned to its original Marina Blue with the white SS stripe
- Original engine was rebuilt by Martin & Otterback, a well-known machine shop in the Maryland area (only 1k miles since the rebuild)
o Block and heads were cleaned and polished
o Block cylinder bore is 30 over
o New Ross pistons (compression of 9.7:1)
o Intake valves 2.02, ball blended
o Exhaust valves 1.06, ball blended
o 30-30 camshaft with hydraulic lifters
o Holley single-pump carb
- Original aluminum Powerglide 2-speed
- Rear end is 12-bolt open end
- New carpet
The car needs just a couple tweaks to make it perfect:
- Original smog control is present but disconnected
- Factory A/C in place but not currently working
- Passenger door window crank knob is missing
- RS package added but never fully hooked up
This is a gorgeous car that runs and drives beautifully and needs very little work to make it totally amazing!
