Frame-off Restored Split-window 327 V8 Tremec 5-speed AC Side Pipe Exhaust ///
During its comprehensive, frame-off restoration, this solid Sting Ray was entirely disassembled and carefully stripped of its dull, original pigment. Once that prep was complete, an original fuselage was massaged to better-than-factory alignment and bathed in sophisticated Tuxedo Black 2-stage paint. And today, one close look at our high-resolution photos reveals a handsome payoff in the form of one of the sweetest Corvettes on the planet! Tilt the car's lightweight hood and you'll find a dressed and rebuilt 327 that's ready to mix many a mile with plenty of smiles! That hot mill sends power to a sturdy Tremec 5-speed overdrive transmission, which twists a fully overhauled differential. At the front of that driveline, a double A-arm suspension employs a new power steering system. At the corners of that suspension, retrofitted four-wheel disc brakes mix firm stops with solid handling. And all that fully sorted hardware rolls on handsome aluminum Knock-Off wheels, which spin 215/70R15 BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial redline tires around patriotic spinner centers. Between the doors, bucket seats are likely the same shade they left the factory, however, their surfaces were fully recovered in new factory-style leather during the car's detailed restoration. From the driver's perch, fully refurbished gauges show like fine jewelry and bleed onto their bordering panels in a march toward a center-mount clock, modern air conditioning and a retro Delco radio. Below that clock, a small console anchors a short shifter between clean carpet, narrow mats and ornate door panels. And in front of the driver, a satin-spoke steering wheel laps a classy cross-flag emblem. With its reliable 327, retrofitted 5-speed and masterful restoration, this Sting Ray is a living embodiment of classic car glory! Call, click or visit for more information.
