1963 Tuxedo Black Fuel Injected Corvette S.W.C.
Very correct, frame-off restored fuelie.
Tuxedo Black w/Black interior, 327/360hp fuel injected, 4-speed.
It’s hard to let the good one’s go! Especially when there aren’t too many others like it! Corvette Mike has owned this beautiful and very correct S.W.C. on and off through the years. So, when it recently came up for sale, he, of course, jumped at the chance to own it once again!
A short history:
Purchased new at legendary Harry Mann Chevrolet in Los Angeles, CA. This awesome F.I. has managed to hang on to its original engine and it has been certified as such by C.C.A.S. As was the Trim Tag, guarantying its authenticity as a factory Tuxedo Black w/Black interior ’63 fuelie.
It eventually ended up in OR. where a prominent LA. collector purchased it. In the late ’80’s it was decided that a frame-off restoration would be in order. So, the renown Nabers Bros. from Houston, TX. were contracted to do the job.
During the restoration, much of the original interior was retained. After the work was completed, it retained a prominent spot in the owner’s collection for several years until Corvette Mike was contacted to purchase it. Which he gladly did! Mike eventually sold the ’63 to a good client in AL. But when a hardship necessitated, he sell, Mike again purchased the S.W.C. It then went to a client in the Chicago area, and later was sold to a collector up in Canada. Then after a number of years . . . you guessed it! Back to us here in CA. once again.
It’s now ready to take up another prominent spot in its next caretaker’s collection . . . or garage!
Documentation includes the original Owner’s Kit with very rare Owner Protection Plan and a Shipping Data Report from The N.C.R.S.
