Up for sale is a completely restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS in factory Lemans blue on dark metallic blue interior. The build has less then 300 miles since completion and the car is in near show room condition.
Lets start with the body and paint:
Over 30k in receipts of bodywork and paint that has gone into this camaro making it a rust free and flawless chassis. The camaro was stripped down to bare metal, panel replaced in areas where any amount of rust showed. It has a new driver quarter panel, trunk floor boards fully replaced as well as any attaching metal that needed repairs. Both the and hood trunk were painted factory correct splatter paint inside and out. The body gaps are nicely gapped and done right. Over 60 hours have gone into the body with everything professionally done by a master vintage body specialist.
The rest of the car is all original and has zero rust or damages. It is a very impressive example that it has been well taken care of and a chassis that has not abused. The car was finished in 2 two stages, a base coat and clear coat, in its original color Lemans Blue.
The car has almost all new exterior chrome including bumpers, bolts, moldings, door handles and locks. All new gaskets, felts and rubber seals are new. All exterior lights work as well.
Moving onto the Heart of the Camaro:
A bullet proof big block 496 cubic inch stroker motor with less than 300 miles on it. All new top to bottom from oil pan to carburetor. The motor has 10.25:1 compression ratio, aluminum rectangle port cylinder heads, Quick Fuel Brawler 850cfm electric choke carburetor, hydraulic roller camshaft, hardened Comp Cam valvetrain, 1.7 roller rockers, air gapped polished high rise intake manifold, high output Hei, high flow water pump, polished accessories in the front of motor, Power Master high torque mini, high pressure oil pump, 3 core aluminum radiator, electric push through fan & mechanical primary fan. All new 2.5†magnaflow exhaust system with x pipe and chrome tips behind rear tires newly installed. New stainless steel gas tank along with hardware. The motor is very strong and makes 550hp and 540lbs of torque. All the parts on the motor are still under warranty and purchased from Summit Racing. I have receipts for everything for the new owner.
Backing up the brute 496 big block we have a new Tremec TKO500 with all new components including bellhousing, clutch flywheel, Dave’s Driveshaft made driveshaft, Hurst short shifter, Spicer U-Joints nothing spared. The transmission was purchased the same time as motor and has less then 300 miles on it. The transmission was purchased from Silver Sport Transmissions and I believe is still under the warranty. These receipts are also available for the new owner. Applying the power to the ground is a completely brand new Ford 9†with posi track 3:73 geared rearend from Quick Performance.
The camaro handles on rails with complete front to rear all new suspension. Front upper and lower tubular QA1 controls arms, QA1 450lbs front coilovers, HD multi leaf rear springs, DSE polyurethane shackles, DSE polyurethane leaf pads, UMI front and rear red powder coated sway bars, Calvert Racing rear traction bars, KYB Air Jacker rear shocks for height adjustment all new and installed professionally. The car also has a new quick ratio steering gear box and some front end new steering components where necessary.
The camaro is a factory dark metallic blue interior car and has many new components including front and rear door panels, seat covers and foam, console with correct new factory gauges, new factory tachometer in dash, dash pad armrests and carpet. Looks amazing with interior lights, gauges, tach, hazards, horn, signals all working. Speedometer gauge needs a new gear insert to work properly and a couple interior components such as the steering column, metal dash and kick panels shows its original paint and patina.
The car has all new brakes and brakes very very well. New parts include front disc brake kit from CCP, CCP master cylinder, EBC ceramic red grade front pads, drum hardware kit and shoes, wheel bearings front and rear and brake lines as needed are all new. Parking brake works flawless. 15†lightweight (17lbs per wheel) aluminum Magnum 500 wheels with staggered BFG Goodrich tires give the car the stance. ARP extended wheels studs give the car the ability for easy wheel changing.
I’m sure I may be missing a few things, but Nothing was spared on this build. There are two folders of purchase receipts accompanied with the sale of this car. Videos and more pictures can be sent via email or text. The car is located in San Francisco. Further questions please feel free to contact me at any time, 415six3two85two4.
