There has been a lot invested in this 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado so that it's not only an awesome lifted 4x4, but also an all-around awesome machine with a slick paint, V8 power, overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and a comfy interior.
You can instantly see there was plenty of time and money that went into making a truck like this. It has a custom shade of Candy Apple Red that has a deep luster and a metallic element that loves the sunshine. And the glossy finish also loves to highlight the crisp lines of these Chevys, and draw extra attention to the straightness of this one's sheetmetal. Shining chrome bumpers, a clean grille, the premium hood ornament, and clear lights are all part of a detail-oriented package that shows they wanted this to be stunning without straying too far from stock. Of course, the functional pieces, like the wide trailer mirrors and a huge 4x4 lifted stance are part of showing off an investment in ability, too.
The interior has been changed to a deep and fresh black presentation. Just like the exterior, much of the investment was about getting a stock but premium feeling. So you have terrific door panels, plush carpeting, a smooth dash, and a taut bench seat with comfy cloth inserts. And there are nice details all-around, including the Chevy bow ties in the floor mats that coordinate with the exterior paint. This has all the right features for a comfy pickup, including a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, tinted windows, cruise control, and R134a air conditioning (needs servicing to blow cold) We love these Silverados for the way the controls wrap around the driver, and the tilt steering column is there to really makes this feel like an in-command experience.
The engine bay shows off more of the solid investment in this pickup. Everything looks fresh, from major components, right down to details like the belts and hoses. And what you'll really love is the power that comes from Chevy's crate 350 cubic-inch V8 that has been upgraded with a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that feed the sweet-sounding low rumble of the dual exhaust. While this restored truck is almost too nice to get muddy, that's a bit of a shame, because it's a proper 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case. And this ability is enhanced with proper Skyjacker suspension components and Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. And for those times when you're just enjoying this one on the pavement, the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, a four-wheel power disc brakes upgrade make it a nice driver.
The sale comes complete with the original warranty card and owner's manual. They restored this truck to be great on or off road and look terrific wherever you go. So if you love an attention-grabbing and able 4x4, call today!
