Car description

There have been big investments all around this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle to give it distinct paint, a custom A/C interior, upgraded suspension, four-on-the-floor, and fuel-injected big block power that's larger than anything the factory offered. The owner of this iconic muscle believes this is a true SS. It is a U-Code 402 LS3, with seemingly all the proper goodies that go along with a true SS. All this means this iconic hardtop delivers on everything you want, from power to poise.
This is a coupe that wants to stand out above the rest, and it's the ideal year to do it. After all, 1972 is when we said goodbye to the now-legendary Chevelle pillarless hardtop coupe with the sleek fastback style. So this one loves to showcase the look we all covet with a shining silver finish. And not only do you get the iconic dual SS stripes on top, but these draw extra attention with the custom outline in the distinguished orange. This has all the other great hallmarks of a muscle machine, like the cowl induction hood, hood pins, and correct SS steel gray wheels that only these later cars got. Since this would be the last time for the form-hugging chrome bumpers, it's great to have them looking so mirror-like. But while it gets the classic elements right, the fender badging helps to announce this has a lot going on under the hood (more on that in a moment.)
The all-black interior is what you want in a muscle car, but this one is also done for comfort. That's why the door panels, carpeting, and seats all have an inviting feeling that makes this a nice place to spend some time. Plus, there's an AM/FM stereo and cold-blowing modern R134a air conditioning. But what you'll really love is how this one is built around you. That means bucket seats, center console, Hurst shifter, NK4 sports steering wheel, and round gauges with large speedo and tach. Plus, you have digital auxiliary readouts on the A-pillar and a EFI controller mounted on the dash as part of the added investment in performance.
The engine bay shows off a tidy and nicely detailed setup. We particularly like how the bold block color is used for accenting in places like the alternator and valve covers. But what really makes this awesome is that you're looking at a 468 cubic-inch V8. Not only is it larger than what Chevy was offering in '72, but also this one has a full controllable Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection module. You'll also spot an MSD ignition and long tube headers to add even more stoutness and performance to this total package. It fires up nicely, and makes a terrific sound out of the dual exhaust. And the four-speed manual transmission keeps you in firm control of it all. Plus, there's power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and an upgraded rear end with stronger arms, airbags, and a sway bar.
When you can enjoy a seriously slick and exceptional powerful muscle car from the comfort of an A/C interior, then you know you've found something special. Don't let this deal slip away. Call now!
