I bought this truck from the original owner in Arkansas and was going to use it for parts on another project, but have decided it’s too nice of a truck to part out. The only thru rust on this unmolested survivor is on the driver side cab corner {two small holes} and the front fender brackets. As far as the body goes there is very little damage and it is very solid. The driver front fender has a dent on top as does the roof of the cab from hail. Hard to see in the pictures and they should be easily repairable. As far as I can tell, this is an all original 1985 other than normal maintenance items. I recently put plugs, wires, heater core and a master cylinder on it. The 5.7 {350} starts right up, but is a little cold blooded. All the original emissions are on this and either need removed or checked out. It idles a little rough but probably has some vacuum leaks. The Turbo 400 transmission shifts solid and this drives straight down the road. The dual exhaust is in good shape, and sounds good. The brake pads and shoes could use replacement, but I’ll leave that up to the next person. The speedometer is the only working gauge in the dash, the dual tank level doesn’t move, nor does the oil pressure or temperature. The power windows and locks are there but operate slow, as does the windshield wiper. I’m doing my best to describe everything about this honestly. The tires are 245/75/16 Uniroyal mud/snow on back and straight tread up front and have plenty of life in them. As you can tell in the pictures the clear coat is peeling, the bench seat needs re-done, the wheel well trim on passenger front is damaged, and the drivers wing window is siliconed shut. Please look at the pictures and see how solid and straight of a truck this is. It is a great candidate for a complete restoration for a classic heavy duty work truck. In the time I have owned this, I’ve only put around 100 miles on it so it needs to go down the road. This can be looked at in Cordova Nebraska or I can send more pictures or videos of it. Please ask me any questions you may have and I’ll do my best to answer. I bought this from the original owner in Arkansas and it hasn’t seen the winter roads of Nebraska yet. After the sale of this truck, it can stay here for a reasonable amount of time as long as it’s paid for. It is up to the purchaser to have this shipped or pick it up from my location. For the right price, I would consider partial delivery or meet you within 200 miles of Cordova Nebraska. This truck is sold as is where is, and I would plan on trailering this home as I have only driven it locally. This is a no reserve auction and is selling to the highest bidder. Good luck and please get a hold of me for any questions.
