Car description

You are bidding at NO RESERVE on the ultimate 1966 Nova Pro-Street equipped with a 383 Supercharged Stroker engine and a Tremec TKO 5-speed. This black beauty underwent a complete ground up restoration back in 2015 and has less than 1500 trouble free miles since completion.

The paint and body are absolutely gorgeous. I had the entire car repainted with PPG Jet black and 5 coats of clear wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish, there is no rust or bondo, and all the panels appeared to be original according to the body shop with the exception of the aftermarket cowl hood. To say the paint is mesmerizing would be an understatement; you could shave in the mirror finish, and it gets thumbs up wherever I go. All of the bumpers and majority of trim were replaced as well and look amazing; anything original that couldn't be replaced was polished and shows very minimal if any wear as you can see by the pictures.

The interior was designed to make it look like a sleeper that your grandma would drive, with the bench seat and dashunder-mountedgauges all while not knowing what sits underneath the hood of this monster. Most everything was replaced interior wise including new door panels, new dash pad, new autometer chrome gauges, new headliner, new sun visors, new door hardware, and much more. Front and rear seats show minimal Florida sun wear from some car shows over the years but overall still look great as you can see by the pictures. All the glass was replaced not long ago and is in excellent shape as well.

Now on to the fun stuff the powertrain:

The engine is a pro-built 383 stroker with 4-bolt main splayed main caps. Eagle 4340 forged stroker crank, H-beam forged rods with ARP hardware. TRW forged blower pistons running 8 1/2 to 1 compression, which allows it to run great off 93 pump gas. The cam is a custom grind blower cam with 282 duration and 580 lift. Patriot aluminum heads fully ported with 2.08 valves, and full roller valvetrain top it off. The power adder is a Weiand 144 polished blower running 7 lbs of boost currently for the street but the engine can handle more if desired. Fueling it is a Holley blow thru carburetor 850 custom tuned to engine. Engine was put on dyno by previous owner and put down over 620 horse making it a heck of a street car. The car runs like a dream with great streetmanners, bump the key and it comes to life. To say this car is fast would be putting it lightly, the power and the weight of the car just makes this a phenomenal adrenaline rush even just cruising around town. I would not recommend anyone not used to this kind of power getting behind the wheel, and if you dont like a crowd around it at every gas station or car show then this isnt the car for you. The engine alone cost well over $12,000 to build.

The transmission is a custom built Tremec TKO 5-speed custom built to handle 700 horsepower comfortably. Has a triple disc street/strip clutch installed, all hardened internals, shifts like a dream and is right there when shifting through the gears. The Tremec gives this monster the best of both worlds first 4 gears around town and the 5th gear for the highway while cruising at 70 mph.

The rear is a built 8.2 with Eaton posi unit, 31 spline axles, and 3:73 richmond gear along with high performance bearings and seals.

Suspension consists of multi-leaf springs, new shocks, NPD power front disc brake OEM conversion. Car stops great, has manual steering that still lets this Nova turn with ease being so light. Wheels and tires are American Racing Torq Thrust II with great tread left on tires.

Cooling is a custom built 4-core aluminum radiator and high flow chrome water pump runs about 150-180 degrees while ive had it even in the hot Florida sun.

New 2 1/2 dual exhaust with flowmasters, car sounds great and people can hear it coming from a mile away. Hooker super competition ceramic coated headers help this supercharged monster breathe.

Engine is completely polished and chromed out, built for trophy winning at car shows and it draws a crowd from the second you pull in until the time you leave everyone flocks over this gem.

Trunk is nicely done with rear mounted battery and brand new Optima red top battery. Floorboards and trunk are super solid as you can tell from the pictures.

Tons more I didn't list but you get the idea, the car is ready to enjoy and will put a big smile on your face. It would make a great addition to any collection or as your first muscle car. I highly doubt you will find a nicer Nova needless to say one built as well as this one. If you have been looking for a gorgeous Nova that will bring you many years of enjoyment your search is over. Do not let this one slip past your collection you will regret it. Bid with confidence I have 100% feedback and have sold many cars over the years. Car is as advertised with a clear Florida title.
