You are bidding on an absolutely gorgeous ground up restored 1966 Nova 2 Door Original 114 V8 Car. this beauty was all restored 2 years ago and is a super nice dependable cruiser. Paint and body were completely restored with new PPG Candy Apple Red Base Coat. Clear Coat. Very nice paint job not Barret Jackson but extremely nice. no waves. no rust. no bondo. all the gaps are excellent. has a very nice shine with no orange peel. All original sheet metal as far as I can tell with the exception of the aftermarket 2” steel cowl hood which gives it a nice aggressive look at the shows. Most of the stainless and trim were replaced including new bumpers front and rear. new side mirror. new bezels. new taillight lenses. new taillight bezels. a new windshield was also installed at the time of restoration with a new seal. Interior was all redone in a nice diamond checkered pattern front and rear seats with all new foam as well. New door panels. new carpet. new headliner. new sunvisors. new sunvisor holders. new Grant steering wheel. new dash. new package tray. new B&M prostick shifter. new glove box inlay. and new sill plates were also installed. The dash was all painted the same Candy Apple Red as the rest of the car and then cleared over. Radio delete plate was installed and all the gauges work as they should with the exception of the speedo. All the lights work great along with the turn signals and wipers. All the windows were professionally tinted and all the glass rolls up and down great. the rear quarter windows need to be resealed to their tracks as they come out when you put them down but they do go down. Engine is a rebuilt nice running period correct 283 built up with a 282 duration camshaft. Edelbrock Air Gap Intake. Hedman Headers. GM 194 Heads. Holley 600 CFM Carb. Performance Harmonic Balancer. high volume oil pump. HEI ignition. engine runs great on pump gas not radical just a great cruising engine and plenty of power for this light car. Engine was topped off with a nice Chrome kit for the shows along with new chrome shock towers. All new cooling system makes sure this baby never runs hot. I have been stuck in rush hour traffic and car never ran above 180. New Flomaster exhaust was just installed to give it that nice muscle car rumble. Trans is a rebuilt turbo 350 with a 2200 Stall and B&M Shift Kit shifts great no issues. Rear is an 8. 2 with heavy-duty bearings and seals. 3:23 Richmond Gear. and an Eaton Posi Unit. Brakes were just all redone and stop great. underneath is super solid and all original with the exception of the toeboards which were replaced at the time of restoration and done right. all welded in and the old ones cut out. The Floorboards and Trunk are original and super solid. Subframe connecters and Traction bars were added. Wheels and Tires are GM Rallys painted to match the car with nice chrome center caps. and brand new tires just installed. Overall I would say this is a very nice 1966 Nova that you can get in and take to shows and win some trophies or just cruise around town and get plenty of thumbs up. It is super dependable I have driven the car on 200 mile trips with no problems. It doesn’t run hot. doesn’t make any funny sounds. cruises down the highway at 70 mph with no problems. This is one car I could say fly in and drive it home.
