I have decide to part with my 1938 Chevy Coupe project. I bought this over a year ago from an estate. The car was said to be in the same family since new and was being restored by a nephew of the original owner. I did receive the title with the car along with a crate full of parts. The chassis / drivetrain restoration is complete, the interior was reupholstered but not protected well and is in the crate of parts and the body is setting on a roller cart. The body work was underway when the owner passed so the car was sprayed in primer and remains that way today. The crate is said to contain all of the parts for the car with the exception of the radiator although I have never gone through it. It does not appear that any of the trim has been restored. I planned to make a hot rod out of the car as I already owned a custom chassis with the same wheelbase. That chassis may be listed in a separate auction once the car is sold.I don’t know much about the specifics but am willing to answer any questions or provide more pictures or a video upon request. I will not misrepresent the car in anyway and would appreciate only serious inquiries and bidders. The buyer is responsible for shipping. If need be I can get the car on the frame. Getting all of the parts in the crate it to the car may not be possible or at least any easy task however, I am willing to assist however I can. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
