1938 Chevy Pro Street Coupe PROJECT Street Rod..Rolling Chassis(no motor/trans)..Over $50K spent..Many parts not even opened yet..Car is still in a "Mock-up" stage..The car was set up/fitted for a Big Block Chevy BBC and overdrive automatic..I've since sold both the motor and trans as I thought I had a buyer for this as a Rolling Chassis..Looks like that deal has fallen through..Not shown,NOT included is a BBC serpentine belt system with power steering and AC,and Vintage Air AC System, and also not shown,NOT included are a pair of coated BBC Sanderson Block Hugger Headers..If you plan to go with BBC,we could work a deal to add those at extra cost..Many guys would prefer a Small Block for gas mileage..Wheels and tires are less than one year old,15x6 front and 15x14" rears American Racing Torq Thrust 2 and Mickey Thompson tires..The swoopy spokes of the ARE TT 2 wheels go well with the fender and headlight style..I also found a set of New-Old-Stock ARE Knock Offs that are now installed..Mustang 2 Front End with Heidt's A-Arms,Wilwood aluminum front hubs and disk brakes..4 Link rear with Strange Aluminum 9" 4.11,Wilwood disk brakes w/E brakes..Axles are just stock ones that were cut and re-spline for mock-up..Drive shaft was fitted before rear end was moved forward an inch,so it will need to be shortened to fit..Set up with Wheelie Bars.. Power brake booster and master cylinder are transverse mounted behind the instrument cluster, cool that they're not seen under the hood or under the car..The normally flat dash was customized with 50's style bumps, lots of gauges, and even a few more not yet installed(clock, trans temp, and acceleration meter)..Glove box door opens..New leather front seat with matching leather folding jump seats in the back(like in a Nissan pick-up),and extra leather for the interior..There's a 15 yard roll of weaved charcoal gray cloth, and maybe enough carpet to finish the trunk, but no interior carpet..Many new parts still in packages:New one piece windshield, new tinted rear glass and port windows, but no door glass yet..I planned to look into one piece door glass vs wing windows..Hagen head light kit, wiper kit, power windows kits,New stainless steel custom grill(original on the car is only poor to fair cond),and much more..See pics!..Custom flush mount signals, tail lights,3rd brake light, all new-not yet installed.. Griffin aluminum radiator..E-Z wire harness partially installed..Custom aluminum gas tank,Hagen pop open gas filler welded to driver's quarter panel..Aeromotive Fuel Pump with pre and post filters with hard stainless lines and extra AN fittings..Set up for dual Optima batteries, though the one in the pic is dead, with mount trays..There is a selector switch to one just one,or both batteries..New hood center molding, hood ornaments, front Chevy badge..New running boards are just set in place for the pics..The body is sitting directly on the frame for mock up,the included new body to frame pads are not yet installed..Original 1938 Chevy paint code 220 was "Swift Red"..looks like an orange-red on line.. There's a lot here, but lots of work to finish..Clear Nevada title..VIN and Cowl tags are intact..Car is located in Running Springs,CA.92382(think Big Bear/Arrowhead Lakes area)..Call for an appointment to view..If mail order,I'll help get it ready for transport..$300.00 immediate deposit, balance CASH at pick up,or Cashier's Check OK,but must clear before title or car is released..Must pay with in 7 days of purchase, but would in-door store the car for up to 30 days..I'd consider a partial trade GM muscle car or Tri-5 project, something under $5K if you are close..Please E or call with questions..More pics if needed..Thanx.Keith cell 714-746-5930 audio only no text or cellguy@live.com
