Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptional 1992 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado with the desirable 350ci engine and five speed manual transmission set up. I would rate the exterior of this Silverado to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this truck shows very well for a nearly 30 year old truck. It is finished in white and black two tone with red striping over matching red interior. As with most older Chevy's, there are some issues with the white paint on the hood and roof. You should be able to easily see this in the photos. The finish down the side of the truck looks good and shines up nicely. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. As with any older truck, there is some body rust visible...but this truck shows far better than some half her age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The bed is clean and shows that this truck hasn't been abused. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching Firestone's with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this old Chevy came in. I would also rate the interior of this Silverado to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The red velour seats show very well for their age and are comfortable. Inside the cab, this is a pretty well optioned truck. It has power windows and locks, all of which work. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. I haven't been able to take this truck out on one of the few nice days we've had to see if the A/C is working...but it wouldn't surprise me if the air blew cold, too! I can tell you that the heat works great. There is a folding bench seat in the rear of the cab that offers plenty of room for passengers or can easily be folded up and out of the way to store your stuff securely. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Silverado came in. It is truly an amazing find! Mechanically, what can I say...this truck is a three time world champ and shows no signs of quitting any time soon. The 350ci V8 starts right up and runs smooth as can be. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The dealership I bought this Chevy off of told me that the previous owner told them it leaked coolant...but I haven't noticed anything major and the coolant level has remained fine the few times I've driven it. The seller also told me that this Silverado just got a BRAND NEW CLUTCH in the first part of this year, too! Someone loved this truck and it shows! Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The tried and true 5.7L V8 feels strong and pulls smoothly. I can hear a small exhaust leak coming from under the truck, but nothing horrible. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the rare five speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. The 5th gear synchronizer scratches a little when you put it into 5th gear...but I wouldn't even begin to worry about that. This Silverado 1500 has the highway gears to you literally have to be on the highway doing 60+ to even think about needing 5th. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This truck has a newer PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2020. If you're looking for a rock solid old truck...here you go. For all the times I get calls and emails from people asking if I ever get any good old trucks, this is a good old truck. They're hard as hell to find...which you probably know, if you've been looking for one. The same owner has put the last 150k miles on this truck and she's still running strong and ready to go. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
