We find this handsome pickup clean from front to rear with minimal cosmetic imperfections (dings,dimples,scuffs,touched up areas ect.).We see no corrosion on the doors,fenders,cab corners,bed or undercartiage.All lenses,moldings and trim are clean and straight.What seems to mostly be the factory finish still waxes to a very nice luster.The dual sliding window feature makes access to the bed a snap.There are a very fresh looking matching set of Bridgestone Dueler 235/75 R16 all terrain steel belted radials riding on the original factory alloys showing no curb or road rash.A good spare and all jacking hardware are present and stowed properly.There is a all fiberglass color co-ordinatedVista lockable capin combination with a Protecta bed liner in good condition.In our opinion this guy has spent a considerable amount of time garaged.

The interior shows no signs of neglect or abuse what so ever.The dash shows no sun fade or degradition,the upholstery,carpeting and all trim panels are in amazing condition for the age.The headliner is clean and tight with no sagging of the material.There has recently been a very nice AM-FM/CD player tastefully and professionally installed.In our opinion this truck looks to have never been smoked in or used to carry pets-so so rare!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Mechanically there are no worries here.The well proven 5.7L V8 fires to life with the click of the key coming to idle at specs.We see no oil leaks or smoke around the block or from the exhaust.On the drive the acceleration is strong,the front end is tight and pleasing with the track being true and straight.The automatic overdrive transmission shits on point thru the gears.The brakes stop this guy confidently with no pull or shudder.The 4x4 transfer case engages firmly with no unusual sounds.The air conditioner works quietly producing ice cold air.We see no issues with the power windows,heat,defrost or safety features.As our tech told us this is one of the easiest trucks to service and many part are interchangeable for over 11years which makes them very inexpensive and always available.Please keep in mind a truck such as this more than likely has well over 200k miles of life left in it.The average 1988 if you could find one will have over 400k if not more!!!!.
