Car description |
---|
A true find from Texas, a rare factory 1969 Chevrolet Caprice 427/360 hp Coupe.
The car does not run.....it is a rolling project that needs complete restoration. It would make a terrific 100 percent restoration, a resto mod or a air bagged low rider.
Key details:
Car has a 396 sitting in place of the 427.....which was pulled long ago. The stock Turbo 400 transmission and 12 bolt rear end are in the car.
The 396 is a factory 1969 block with matching heads. It turns.
It is a factory power front disk brake, air conditioning and power steering car.
Car has several details for proving it's a stock 427/360 hp car. It has the correct 3/8 fuel line and 1/2 return line still mounted to the frame as it came from the factory. The Big Block front coil springs, engine stands, stabilizer bar and power steering set up are still in the car.
The 427 emblems are the real deal.....installed at the factory.
All the exterior and interior trim is present and in good shape. Seats have head rests that operate perfectly.
Overall the car is solid. It will need new floor pans and trunk pan. Otherwise the only rust I have seen is at the bottom of the passenger side quarter panel and along the bottom of the rear of the sail section of the roof.....due to it being a factory vinyl roof car.
It's a legit factory 1969 427/360 hp Chevrolet!
I have a bill of sale, no title.
