This is a Colorado car that was purchased by the previous owner as a “barn find” from a person in Thornton Colorado. That owner indicated that he purchased it from the original owner in the late 60’s. It had been in storage and off of the road since the mid 80’s. It is a REAL, numbers matching, Corvair Turbo Spyder. The previous owner did a good deal of work on the car the 2+ years he owned the car. It included: all new brakes, including master cylinder (conversion to dual) and wheel cylinders, lots of new suspension parts, many new interior parts, including carpet, door panels, battery, gas tank and sender, all bushings for throttle, clutch and shifter. Both bumpers have been rechromed. The original wheels and spinner hubcaps come with the car. The wheels on the car are new as are the tires. The boost gauge works, but the odometer does not. The manual convertible top is in good condition with just a very small (1” blemish) which has a clear patch (see picture). The body is in flat white as the previous owner was preparing to have it painted. It was originally black. The previous owner used it as a reliable driver, as it runs and drives well. My reason for selling is that I have sold the small airplane hangar where I store it along with several other cars. I have no current options for storage and do not want to store it outside. The Colorado title is clear and in my name. It is offered at NO RESERVE!!
