1963 CHEVROLET CORVAIR SPYDER TURBO CONVERTIBLE Up for your consideration is this very sharp & sporty 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Spyder Turbo Convertible VIN # 30967W118371
What can I say about this car......The Spyder was the top of the line for the Corvair in 1963 and was the only Corvair in 63 available with the 150 HP Turbocharged motor mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
These are great little cars and one of the previous owners decided to go to the extra effort to add some of the popular 1964 options to this 1963 car. Most notable would be the front and rear sway bars for better handling.
There are also a few other 1964 touches added to this car that only a Corvair buff would ever pick up on. All in all, a very cool looking car. There were also a few GM options on this car which includes Power convertible top, bumper guards and a tissue dispenser.
This Corvair is a nice driver quality classic and great for taking out and hitting the open road with the top down.
No oil leaks and starts right up and rides like a dream with no rattles or anything.
The only thing it needs is a stereo head unit as it all wired up with speakers but the old 80's cassette deck is toast.
We just use a bluetooth driven boom box in the back seat when we drive it.
Every timewe take it out it's thumbs up and turns heads all day long..Please take a close look at the current pictures and feel free to ask all the questions you wish.
The car is also listed locally so this listing can be cancelled at any time.
Buyer is to pay a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours and the rest is due within 7 days via bank transfer or cashiers check.
As with any 55 year old car there is no warranty and it is sold as is but it runs like a top and is turnkey and ready for the road.
