GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1955 Chevrolet 210 for your consideration. People say that first impressions are everything but that is not the case with this Chevy. On first look, everyone notices the faded and chipped exterior but there is so much more to this car than that. The smooth running 235Ci I6 is in great condition and believed to be the original. The 6cyl engine is mated to a strong shifting 3-speed manual transmission with a... column-mounted shifter. Despite the appearance, the car runs strong and drives true and straight. The exterior is finished in what is believed to be the original India Ivory over Shadow Grey paint. Although it shows some fading, the Shadow Grey paint could receive some work and TLC and become a beautiful patina finish. The body of the car is solid and straight and ready to receive a repaint if that is the next owner's desired route. With a repaint, any color can be chosen to allow for one to express their unique idea of what this car can become. The original teal interior has seen better days and the seat covers have worn through as well. As with the exterior, the interior is functional but could use a significant amount of work. The interior is another place on the car that would allow for the next owner to express themselves. An original or period-correct interior could be installed, or a new vinyl or leather bench seat could be placed in the interior, even two front bucket seats could be installed for a true hot rod feel. This Chevrolet 210 is the perfect platform to create something truly unique. With its strong body and chassis, smooth-running engine, and classic looks the possibilities are endless. Not many people jump into a restoration on a 4-door 210 but this is your opportunity to be unique and create something that nobody else will have. This large classic Chevrolet will make a great cruiser, show car, or street rod, or whatever else can be dreamt up. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
