Car description |
---|
Guys this is a real SS Chevelle with a build sheet proving that and that it is a South Carolina Tricentennial Edition. Only 6 registered so it is rare! On the bottom center of the build sheet it tells how the car was painted and also that it had ZP3 special paint thus giving it a - - paint code on the cowl tag.
The car has all original metal with the exception of one patch panel behind the rear drivers sidewheel. All the bumpers, chrome trim and emblems look new, the paint is older lacquer with some crows footing but shines like glass.
The engine compartment looks stock, correct coded plug wires, crayon markings on the fire wall, tabs on the lines, shocks, everything is labeled as would have been originally. Headers and dual exhaust was added. When the engine was built it was balanced and printed, runs flawlessly. AC works, retaining the R12 refrigerant but as the engine warms it backs off.
it retains the factory 755 trim bench seat, AM/FM radio andT3 head lights.
This car is laser straight and paint shines like glass but I'm not saying its perfect but at 4' it looks it. It is not a factory 454 car, it was a 396, but later upgraded to the 454. Car has a build sheet and a GA title in my name, I've owned it 15 plus years and have always garaged and babied it.
