1941 Chevrolet Suburban Up for sale and ready for Immediate purchase is this LS1 powered 1941 BARN DOOR Chevy Suburban. Clocking nearly 30,000 trouble free miles show cruising all over the nation, this pre war resto-mod is one cool cruiser that's been everywhere. The owner built it to drive and with that intention alone he chose the best modern upgrades for performance, reliability, and economy. EVERYTHING works like it should YOU CAN DRIVE THIS EXTREMELY RARE TRUCK HOME.
It features a Stock 2004 GTO LS1 engine with 4l65E 4spd auto transmission. It has a standard performance tune with headers. The swap was performed by us (Streetheat customs) 4 years ago, a no frills approach was taken because the truck was built to be driven and enjoyed rather then polishing and cleaning constantly. The suspension is Fatman suspension mustang II with coil overs, sway bars installed by Fatman, and power Disc brakes. The rear is standard GM 8.5 posi-traction with 3.08 gears for highway and city travel cruises 70 MPH just under 2000 rpm and gets around 21-23 pg highway. Its been rewired with modern tech wire harness. A 20 gal fuel cell was custom built for the truck and adapted for EFI. A Streetheat 2.5' mandrel dual exhaust was built for it with X-pipe and ran out the rear with Walker Mufflers for a quite but performance tone
The Satin green 2 tone exterior finish and SOLID body looks great and is easily maintained. There is some minor damage under the rear apron and inner passengers rear barn door and a few rock chips on the nose. The satin finish was Ideal because who wants to shine a hotrod after driving 2000 miles to a show, a quick wipe and its done. The Wheels are wheel Vintiques 17' Aluminum Artillery powder coated tan with TOYO tires. The Body is in exceptional condition especially for its age all the glass and seals are in great shape its a water tight truck which is a lot to ask of a old pre war vehicle.
The interior is a little older but its clean and presentable. A Vintage Air A/C Heat unit keeps the climate right in any state. Dakota Digital VHX gauges keep the vitals monitored and the pedal steady on cruise control. A Fusion stereo with satellite radio keeps the tunes going. We installed a 1 piece windshield during the engine swap with new wiper motor and actuators. It has power windows also
This suburban has been nearly coast to coast a few times over the last 4 years. If you've been to any NSRA shows and other major street-rod shows you may have seen it. It was built to drive and I cant emphasis enough how much this truck has gone beyond the owners expectations in doing that. A new project is on the way so its time to sell Please call 321-243-0328 for immediate response to any questions. We do sell internationally and are familiar with MOT certifications and can also assist with Transport should you decide to do so.
