What you have here in front of you is a lovely original-preservation survivor with believed to be original Yuba Gold Two-Tone paint and Original Saddle Interior. The question here is what to do as this is an all original truck? A very rare last year Square Body Full Convertible Blazer(3-year production) in great survivor condition.
This 1975 Blazer was manufactured in Flint Michigan and Shipped to John Kraft Chevrolet. John Kraft completed its New Car delivery on July 25th 1975 as seen in the PDI checklist form. Mr & Mrs. Paige took Delivery 3 days later on July 29th, 1975 as indicated in the original Warranty Card. This leads me to believe they factory order this spectacular blazer just the way they wanted. I believe they spec'd it just right! Mr & Mrs. Paige owned this truck for 44 years. The second owner Mrs. Gould was gifted the truck by the Paige's in February of this year(2019). With a young growing family, the Gould's needed something more usable and were referred to us.
The Blazer is painted in a Special Yuba Gold / Frost White Two Tone. In an era in time where these colors were iconic and desirable colors. The paint shows nicely with good patina. All of the exterior trim is complete and looks and shows well. Rare factory Bumper guards mounted on the front look awesome. The convertible top appears to never have been removed.. all of the glass is in good shape. front grille looks great as well. normal small rust areas showing on the common spots on this blazer, however relatively easy fixes and if you repair and blend they will fit right in with the patina. 31" tires mounted on the first year optional Rally Wheels.
The 400 motor starts right up and sounds good. The engine bay looks great; youll notice all the right things that get us purist excited. Factory bottle Jack and tool still mounted on the inner fender and never used. Factory jacking instructions sticker also still on the inner fender. Factory AC Delco air conditioning sticker. Factory air cleaner stickers still intact. Motor feels and drives like she has 43k miles.
Interior looks great and the condition reflects the 43k mileage showing on the odemeter is most likely original. Look at those seat - 1975's had the nice buffalo stamping texture on the covers. these look great for thier age. as we all know most people pulled these seats and put some ugly modern seats in these. Factory Center console looks good. Look at that spectacular factory dash with no cracks. oh and that factory radio with an uncut dash. again not to beat a dead horse but most of these are all cut up with some ugly modern radio. The rear interior door/quarter panels look great along with the metal and wood trim. Factory Rollbar, Rear seat looks great. Look at the cool hardwar in all the seats. Factory Spare tire mount is still mounted in the right area. Original build sticker still adhered to in the glove box. Carpets show its age, but help the authenticity of the preservation condition. factory 4x4 instructions sticker still intact on the visor.
undercarriage shows nicely! we sprayed just the frame and axles flat black for it to show nicer, the body is in original un touched condition.
As you all know with any Survivor or preservation vehicle it will need some extra love, however these Patina trucks are the hottest thing going right now. The reason everyone wants these survivors is there are un-tampered with and have all the original bones and you can use them as is or restore them to your liking.
