We are selling our Father and son project. We realized it's going to take more than our mechanical skills will allow us to do this project. The cab is what I would call a 7 out of 10 on the condition scale. there is small amounts of rust in the kick panel area of the floor on the drivers side and the inner rocker on the drivers side. but the rest of the floors look to be in decent shape! The bed, as you can obviously see is where the rust monster got the ole girl. It will need a patch panel on the drivers side above the wheel well for sure, also the inner wheel well it's self. The bed floor is in need of replacement or it could be repaired with a donor truck to weld in several different area's with the issues, other than that as you can see in the pics the bed sides are really straight! The drivers door is not all rusted out it just has a creased dent in the lower section where the previous owner scraped it along a pylon at their bank drive up. I found a new $600 door here on ebay that has a small dent in the lower left corner for $380, and free freight to your door!! Honestly I believe that's a hard price to beat. All the glass is good in the truck, no wiper marks that I seen in the windshield side windows no laminate separation and the back glass, other than the ugly purplish tint they used to put on in the day is a nice clean window. It has the original owners manual, and a new glove box was installed. It may have a head gasket or possibly a intake manifold gasket leaking because it has white smoke coming out on the passenger side tail pipe. It must be minor because there is NOTHING in the oil! NO milky crappy looking oil..and the engine runs strong and is very quiet, no lifter noise or rod, piston noises detectable at all. The Firestone Firehawk tires have over 80% of the tread left on the, showing some minor dry cracking, but I don't believe it to be an issue. It has dual exhaust with some kind of 4" large tips they sound pretty good with the dual's! This truck has so much potential, like I said the bed is the worst of it. The engine has a Edelbrock carburetor, and new Edelbrock nice quality valve covers. The truck runs decent even with the head gasket or intake manifold gasket issue! The transmissionshifts great! The truck has a clear paperwork, no issues! These are very popular year, between 67-72 C/10's as I'm sure you know. Honestly, this truck has a lot going for it..we looked at some horrible rust buckets before buying this one, believe me! There are junkie looking ones out there they are asking a whole lot more for them than what would like to get out of ours. I was very surprised to see the upper windshield drip tray wasn't all rusted out. There is a small amount on the inside where water leaked past the windshield rubber molding, but just minor. I forgot to mention the truck steers really well, I'm not totally sure but it looks like someone has spent some money on the front end, it just drives to nice not to have as old as it is.Seriously, If someone had a nice bed this truck would be a very easy restoration! Update notice: My friend who is a GM Technician came by on Monday evening and re torqued the intake manifold on this truck and it seemed to make a huge difference! He said more than likely, since there was no water going into the oil, it has a intake manifold gasket problem between the water jacket and the intake port(And need to be replaced) I drove it after the re-torque and the white vapor and the burning smell of anti freeze was almost non exsistant. He said what was there was the anti freeze that was trapped inside the muffler and other exhaust system pipes and should burn out after driving it for awhile, which makes sense! Nothing is 100% on these older vehicles as we all know but this did seem to help this issues a lot! The truck runs so well and has a lot of power. I am pretty certain who ever buys this truck will enjoy driving it as much as I do.

I just realized, I did not mention that I have the original chrome rear bumper and brackets. The brackets look to be in great shape, the bumper is a 2 out of 10, not a keeper but a trade in core with no rust. I also did not mention in the description that theEdelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers, and air cleaner, they were all purchased at the same time, about 6 mints ago. The engine also has a 6 month old HEI distributor, new upper radiator hose, water pump and battery. I wasn't sure if all of those things were that clear in the pic. I also have, (for 1 door) a extra set of door hinges, 1 door glass, (no wing window) 1 window crank,1 inner door handle, 1 inner door release mechanical linkage, 1 extra outer door handle, extra bolt's and assorted small items. Thanks for your interest in my truck!
