THE BODY APPEARS TO HAVE NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT WITH EXCELLENT LINES. WE COMPLETELY REPAINTED THE CAR WITH TWO-STAGE COLOR SANDED/ BUFFED BLACK AFTER WE UPGRADED THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS TO FIBERGLASS THUS ELIMINATING THE WAVINESS SEEN IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY POLYURETHANE. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE NICELY AS YOU WOULD EXPECT ON A LOW MILEAGE CAR AND DON'T SAG AS MANY DO.WE ALSO REPLACED THE FRONT NOSE EMBLEM, GAS DOOR EMBLEM AND "CORVETTE" REAR BUMPER SCRIPT WITH NEW GM REPRODUCTIONS AFTER THE NEW PAINT. ALL OF THE WEATHERSTRIP (DOOR MAINS, FRONT AND REAR PILLARS, T-TOPS, HOOD AND EXTERIOR WINDOW "FELTS" WHICH ARE ACTUALLY RUBBER) IS ALL NEW (SOME G.M. NOS) AND SOFT TO THE TOUCH. THE FRONT AIR DAM RECEIVED NEW RUBBER "SWEEPS" AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS. THE HEADLIGHT SYSTEM HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED WITH FACTORY REPRODUCTION COLOR CODED VACUUM LINES, AND SEALS MAKING BOTH HEADLIGHTS POP UP AND GO DOWN QUICKLY. ALL THE LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS WORK WITH ALL FOUR NEW G.M. REPRODUCTION MARKER LIGHTS. THE HORN WORKS WITH BRAND NEW HORN UNITS AND THE WIPERS ARE FUNCTIONAL. THE GLASS TOPS LOOK GREAT FOR THEIR AGE AND COME WITH THEIR FACTORY STORAGE BAGS AS PICTURED. WE ADDITIONALLY HAD THE WHEELS PROFESSIONAL POLISHED AND THE TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 500 MILES ONE THEM. THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER LOOKS GOOD (NO ONE HAS EVER PUT A JACK UNDERNEATH IT) AND STILL CARRIES THE FACTORY SPARE TIRE.

THE INTERIOR IS ALL NEW OR RESTORED INCLUDING NEW REPRODUCTION CORVETTE AMERICA DASH, NEW GAUGE SPEEDO/ TACH GAUGE LENS, NEW CENTER GAUGE CLUSTER BEZEL, AND NEW SHIFTER CONSOLE PLATE. WE SIMILARLY INSTALLED NEW REPRODUCTION SEAT COVERS, CARPET KIT COMPLETE, DOOR PANELS, NEW STEERING WHEEL, NEW REPRODUCTION SUN VISORS, NEW REPRODUCTION REAR COMPARTMENT DOORS, DOOR SILL MOLDINGS AND A NEW INTERIOR SCREW KIT. THE ORIGINAL JACK IS STILL IN PLACE AS WELL. I INSTALLED A NEW SET OF CUSTOM LLOYD'S FLOOR MATS BECAUSE THE NEW CARPET SHOULD BE PROTECTED AND THEY LOOK SO COOL! THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WORK AS DO ALL OF THE GAUGES (EXCEPT THE CLOCK.) THE CENTER GAUGES STILL LOOK LIKE NEW TO ME. EVEN THE POWER WINDOWS ALSO GO UP AND DOWN SMOOTHLY WITH NEW SWITCHES. I ACQUIRED AN ORIGINAL FACTORY STEREO FOR THE CAR BUT DIDN'T HOOK IT UP: RATHER WE INSTALLED FOUR NEW SPEAKERS AND A BLUETOOTH AMP TO PLAY MUSIC OR RADIO APPS (I.E. PANDORA, NPR, ETC.) DIRECTLY FROM MY/ YOUR PHONE.
MECHANICAL
THE DETAILED MOTOR COMPARTMENT HAS A REBUILT 350 CUBIC INCH MOTOR (INTENDED TO GIVE THE CAR MORE HORSEPOWER) MATED TO A FACTORY AUTOMATIC THREE SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE ORIGINAL "NUMBERS MATCHING" 350 CUBIC INCH MOTOR IS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE BUT IF THE BUYER DOESN'T WANT IT: I CAN TAKE $500 OFF OF THE PRICE OF THE CAR. I INSTALLED A SET OF RESTORED FACTORY CORVETTE FINNED ALUMINUM HIGH HORSE VALVE COVERS AND HAD A REPRODUCTION FACTORY CORRECT COLOR CODED EMISSION HOSE KIT INSTALLED ON THE MOTOR TOGETHER WITH A REBUILT 1980 CORVETTE FACTORY CARBURETOR AS PICTURED. BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSIONS (BUSHINGS, BALL JOINTS, SWAY BAR BUSHINGS, STRUT ROD BUSHINGS, REAR SPRING WITH BUSHINGS, ETC.) AS WELL ALL FOUR BRAKE CALIPERS AND ROTORS WERE REBUILT/ REPLACED LESS THAN 500 MILES AGO. THE POWER STEERING HAS BEEN REBUILT WITH RE-MANUFACTURED PUMP, POWER STEERING CONTROL VALVE, POWER STEERING RAM AND ALL NEW HOSES. WE ALSO INSTALLED A NEW REPRODUCTION GAS TANK SENDING UNIT SO THAT THE GAS GAUGE READS CORRECTLY, YOU'LL NOTE THE FACTORY GAS CAP STILL IN PLACE AS YOU WOULD EXPECT ON SUCH AN ORIGINAL CAR. THE A/C IS COMPLETE AND UNMODIFIED BUT I HAVEN'T TAKEN IT TO BE RECHARGED BECAUSE WE'VE ALREADY SPENT SIGNIFICANTLY MORE ON THIS CAR THAN THE LISTED PURCHASE PRICE: HOWEVER THE SYSTEM IS UNDOUBTEDLY DUE FOR A RECHARGE. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE.
