This is one of the best looking '66 Chevelle's you will ever find. Starting with the '66 body style arguably puts it amongst the best-looking cars of all time without even considering the work done by expert craftsman and the attention to detail that has gone into this car. But let's consider that work. Check it out. This car has a serious bit of chassis rake to it that lets you know it means business and the Dark Toreador Red paint on this car is awesome. It has a super shine to it that really catches the light showing off the smooth contours of the body including the bulging rear fender lines that give the car such a muscular look. The chrome all shines like new. Up front a blacked-out grill with an SS 396 badge is outlined in chrome and underlined by a sharp looking bumper. The ridges down the hood and the tops of the fenders are crisp and clean. Trim around all the glass received its share of elbow grease to make it shine too and wheel well moldings as well as polished rocker trim compliment 18" Weld forged wheels. Out back, the sail panels of the roofline blend nicely onto the trunk and Chevelle as well as SS 396 appears between the taillights with a simple and clean bumper underlining it all. Open the door and you will see that the show continues inside too. A black interior is trimmed out with the nicest chrome you will ever see highlighting door panels, dash and console. A custom, black and chrome three-spoke steering wheel with a bowtie center button will grab your attention. The column itself is polished up with a knee-knocker tach mounted on the right. The rectangular speedometer is flanked by the stock engine gauges with control knobs mounted above it. In the center is an FM radio that is trimmed in more of that sparkling chrome. Below that are the ventilation controls that include R134 updated air conditioning, and below that are a trio of white faced Equus gauges to keep accurate track of oil pressure, water temp and voltage. The center console has the T-handle shifter for the automatic transmission as well as a clock. The seats have been reupholstered and a fresh headliner as well as carpeting really tie the look together nicely. When you pop the hood, you will see that all this car's Show, is backed up with plenty of Go. There you will find a 468 cubic inch power house of a motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. It is a short deck 454 from an early 70's car that has stroked and built up to make some serious power. A polished air topper feeds fresh air to a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake manifold. An MSD ignition system assures a hot, reliable spark and Polished aluminum is plentiful with the valve covers as well as the Vintage Air compressor and alternator dressed for the show. Hedman headers wind their way out the bottom leading back to Flowmaster mufflers. A 12-bolt differential with 3.73 gears gets the power on the ground while Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes insure that you can haul this car back down from speed. Coil overs in the front allow some adjustability and the rubber meets the road through 245/40ZR18s in the front and 285ZR18s in the rear mounted on those sharp Weld wheels. Seriously fast and one of the best looking '66 Chevelles you will ever see. Come on down and check it out up close and personally for yourself. We think you will be impressed.
