2-Owner Car (Purchased by current owner July, 1973)
This car belonged to my uncle. He recently passed away and I'm listing it / handling the sale for my aunt. We have a free & clear title in her name. He was a businessman, so the title had been transferred between company and personal names through the years, but it's been his car since July of 1973. My father was, at the time, a pre-owned dealer and he purchased this Corvette from a Chevy dealer for my uncle at that time. The car was a trade-in on another new Corvette when my Dad acquired it.
The car is of "good" quality, but still original, so it has cosmetic flaws. There are hairline body cracks in several places, as is normal on an unrestored Corvette of this age and it took a minor bump on the right-front corner many years ago (all pictured). This is a very decent-looking and driveable car, as it is, but definitely warrants a proper restoration to be perfect. The car does run very well and has been kept up on maintenance. Never abused. Always garaged and not driven in bad weather. My uncle recently had the A/C gone over, replaced some parts and it works well. I do have the original rallye wheels, center caps and trim rings for the car. I haven't yet found the original exhaust manifolds, but I "think" they're somewhere at their house. If I find them, they will be included with the sale.
I can show the car by appointment. I do NOT want to deal with brokers or offers to consign the car. We will accept cash, in person, or a bank cashier's check. A deposit of $500 will be due within 24 hours of the sale and can be made by PayPal or in-person. A check must clear my Aunt's account before the car or title will be released. I can aid with delivery of this vehicle within 300 miles of Bethlehem, PA, at additional cost. I own a towing company and have rollbacks with which I can personally deliver the car. Please get a quote on transport if that's desired. Any delivery beyond that distance will be the responsibility of the buyer. The title must have the buyer's name filled in and be notarized. We will not sell the car on an open title.
I can be reached by phone at (484) 895-9870. My name is Marc. I will try to answer whatever questions you may have. Thank you for looking.
