Hi, After enjoying my 1937 Chevy custom pick up truck for a few years, I decided it's time to move on to another toy. I bought this truck from a former race car/auto technician who built this truck as a project that was sitting in a barn for many years. He started with a stock chassis and added a Heidts Mustang II front suspension. Narrowed the rear frame and installed a triangulated 4 link suspension with a Ford 9 inch, and Strange adjustable coil over shocks. The Cragar wheels out back are 14" wide with Hoosier Pro Street tires. The engine is a mild 350 engine with Corvette aluminum heads, and a Edelbrock dual-quad manifold and carbs. I never got the cams specs but it sounds great. The auto transmission is a Turbo 350. It also has a fuel cell mounted under the bed. The body is all steel except the rear fenders. He custom fabricated the rear bed. He painted the truck to give the worn patina look. No clear was added to easily touch up any minor scratches if needed. The gauges are all custom and the speedometer is electric. It has a tilt steering wheel to accommodate most drivers. The shifting is done with a Lokar shifter. It runs excellent on the freeway, I drive to many local cruise nights. The truck is mean and loud, not for everybody. I wrote down the things that I can remember from my conversion with him, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. Feel free to call or text with any questions. Thanks and have a great day! 630 664 1161
