Up for auction is a 1964 highly optioned van nuys built Chevelle Malibu SS. Rare car with power steering power brakes power windows air conditioning tilt steering wheel 2 speed wipers push button radio factory tinted glass drivers side remote rear view mirror "cable style" bumper guards dash clock. Very solid car with the exception of the trunk pan. It's a total loss quarter panels are warped from a torch and brazing rod. All paint has been removed and a coat of primer has been applied. So you are seeing all metal body no hidin rust. Original color was meadow green. Floor pans are great no rust or holes. Someone did cut a hole in transit hump for a 4 speed. Have many parts for car that has been disassembled very little chrome no motor or transmission. Car has new upper and lower ball joints. New tie rod ends. New u-joints in drive shaft. New brake pads and shoes with new springs. New body mounts and bolts. Glass is good shape. No bondo just a few skimmed spots. No lip rot on sheet metal. I believe that the quarter panels could be fixed with patch panels. The dash pad which is another option is in great shape and bucket seats and back seats are very good condition also with the exception of the piping on buckets showing. Head liner is the option of basket weave and was in good shape as well with seams coming apart. I have plastic totes with all air conditioning and other parts.
