You are looking at a super nice and solid 1962 Bel Air.
Body: It's from Oklahoma, itis the most dry undercarriage I've ever seen on any older vehicle. Really look at the pictures, floor mount, rockers, trunk pan, rails, everything beautiful and rust free. The lip under the hood and trunkis even perfect (very rare on these cars). No rust around the quarter jamb or drip rails, no where. Four small rust bubble spots, bottom of both fenders, in front of rear wheels on the quarter panels. All easy fixes, nothing to replace at all. It's been repainted looks like a long long time ago, but it does give it a nice patina. All the trim is there, few dings, but pretty dang nice.
Interior: The interior is all there and intact, but the mid westsun has destroyed it pretty much. Dash and knobs are nice, just the fabric stuff is crappy.
Drivetrain: Original 6 cylinder and powerglide transmission perform great. Goes down the road smooth and steady with no issues. Wheels and tires are brand new. 15" in the front and 17" in the rear to give it that tucked look. I ordered the wheels from Vintiques raw and had them powder coated white. I just installed a front power disc brake kit, 2" lowered spindles also, and had it changed over to an Alternator. All quality parts from Hubbard's Impala parts.
In closing, you would have a hard time finding a better body on any 56 year old car out there. This would make a great high dollar 409 build, very little body work to be done, will save you thousands at the body shop, or drive it the way it is with the patina which I like better. Check my feedback, I've been on Ebay over 16 years without one issues with my auctions. Call me if you need anymore info and feel free to send any questions you may have, or if you want specific pictures of anything. Take care and thanks for looking. Derek (828) 772-6838.
